Training activities in Bologna and Reggio Emilia

Next week INTERSTICE partners and collaborators will participate in different training activities, organized by UniBo.

On Wednesday 23rd of March, the team will visit Reggio Children – Loris Malaguzzi International Centre: a place of encounter and exchange for people and organizations who innovate in education and culture. Loris Malaguzzi Foundation produces research and innovation in education for all ages, collectives and settings, from the Reggio Emilia approach. Later on, a visit to REMIDA Creative Recycling Centre in Reggio Emilia will be proposed: a centre related to the same Foundation, but that is specific to sustainability and creativity, specifically oriented to teachers, artists and students.

On Friday 25th in the morning, the team will visit the Museum of Modern Art Bologna – MAMbo. And in the afternoon, a hybrid workshop on narrative thinking in children’s art, led by artist Marta Masi, will be developed. Marta Masi is a museum educator and pedagogist, who works with children on art education in museums and schools.

During the same week, INTERSTICE transnational meeting will be also held, in an hybrid format.

All these experiences will provide an opportunity to share our thoughts and know different inspiring experiences around education, art and collaboration between artists, children and educators.
